Location: Leeds

Employment Type: This is a part-time position with a full-time equivalent of 40 hours per week. Shift patterns will be determined in advance with the line manager and will be scheduled on a rota basis over 7 days.

Job Overview:

The Medical People is seeking a Registered Nurse with a strong interest in urgent care. The role involves assessing adult and pediatric patients with undiagnosed problems, providing clinical assessment, advice, and appropriate signposting. The Nurse will prioritize patient care and ensure they receive attention from the most relevant healthcare professional based on their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and prioritize patients in urgent care settings
• Provide clinical assessment, advice, and signposting for further care
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team (MDT) to ensure effective patient management

Requirements:

• NMC Registration
• Significant post-registration experience in acute/urgent care
• Knowledge of IT systems, including System One
• Evidence of recent training and continued professional development
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Good understanding of urgent care conditions and triage
