About the Role:

The Medical People Recruitment Ltd is seeking dynamic Locum Consultant Radiologists with expertise in cross-sectional imaging for a hospital in Wales. This role offers an excellent opportunity to join a progressive team and contribute to the development of radiological services within the Health Board.

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide CT and MRI reporting duties on a 4-week rotation, including vetting and reporting of urgent, emergency cases, general and oncology reporting.
• Participate in teaching radiology trainees, reporting Radiographers, undergraduate students, and other hospital staff.
• Contribute to the department’s workload, including potential subspecialty reporting interests.
• Assist in Out Of Hours (OOH) on-call duties, providing cross-site reporting and emergency cover as needed.
• Collaborate with existing consultants to deliver integrated radiology services across multiple hospital sites.

Key Requirements:

• Specialist in cross-sectional imaging with a flexible approach to work.
• Ability to contribute to a progressive radiology team and build effective working relationships.
• Experience in reporting CT and MRI scans, with subspecialty interests welcomed.
• Willingness to participate in teaching and contribute to the department’s educational initiatives.
