Registered Nurse IPU (Days/Nights) | Hospice | Essex, CM17

Salary: £31,663.80 – £37,637.25 per annum (inclusive of 5% High-Cost Area Allowance) plus Enhancement. Pro rata for Part Time.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (part-time considered)

About the Role:
The Medical People Recruitment is partnering with a Hospice in Essex to find passionate Registered Managers for both day and night shifts. Join a small, friendly, and forward-thinking team dedicated to delivering outstanding care in an 8-bedded In-Patient Unit.

Job Summary: As a Registered Manager, you will lead shifts, providing high-quality specialist palliative care and ensuring that the care standards across the IPU are maintained. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to support patients and families through end-of-life care, grief, and loss.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver holistic patient assessments, care planning, and evaluation of interventions.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families, involving them in their care planning.
• Liaise with multi-professional teams for coordinated and continuous care.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and work across a 24-hour service, including weekends and bank holidays.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

• Registered Nurse with NMC certification.
• Experience in providing palliative care and leading shifts.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team.
