About the Role:
The Medical People is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Physiotherapist to join our client’s Critical Care and Surgical Physiotherapy team in Carmarthen. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on patients’ lives, from critical care through to their return home. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care, particularly in paediatrics and hospital settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide rehabilitation to patients who have been critically unwell, undergone surgery, or are part of the Major Trauma Network.
• Work closely with inpatient and community colleagues, local MDT, and community services to maximize patient outcomes.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, board rounds, and holistic patient-centered care.
• Engage in innovative practices and contribute to service development.
• Provide on-call respiratory services and support future developments in 7-day working.

Requirements:

• HCPC registration (required).
• Expertise in paediatrics and hospital settings.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
