Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate and bubbly personal care assistant to join our team at Khan PHB. We have 2 positions available,
You will join us on a full time or part time basis, working days & nights.
You will receive a flat hourly rate of £19.30 with no enhancements.The location in which you must travel is Hillsborough Sheffield.

Care is required on a rota basis within the hours of 1200-1700/2000 and 2200-0800, Candidates that have the flexibility to work these hours will be shortlisted for interview.
Guaranteed hours contracts may be available for the right candidate.
We train all our staff to the highest standards and support them throughout their career with us.

The role;
You will be providing care in the clients home address, experience in the care sector is essential but not limited to working with children, but preferred.
Work is available on a 4 week advance rota from a mix of shift types of half days; 1200-1700/ full days; 1200-2000 and waking night shift;2200-0800 to the maximum of 30 hours per week.

You will helping the family care for their 3 complex care need children alongside the amazing team of carers they already have, and will require extensive 4 weeks of training in the following;
-Moving and handling
-Medicine administration
-Tracheostomy
-Ventilation and humidification
-Suctioning
-PEG/feeding
-SATS monitoring
-Basic Life Support
-Fire safety training
-E-learning
-Supporting the children with daily activities like play therapy, physio therapy, washing, dressing, and maintaining personal hygiene.

Any experience in the above is preferred but not required as training is provided
