Community Nurse

£35,000 - £40,000 + Company Car + Phone + Laptop + Company Share Scheme

Clevedon, North Somerset (Commutable from: Bristol, Portishead, Pill, Clevedon, Nailsea, Weston-Super-Mare, Bridgewater, Long Ashton, Bath, Yatton, Burnham-on-Sea, Winscombe, Axebridge, Glastonbury)

Are you a Nurse with passion for working with children or individuals with learning disabilities? Do you have a desire to make a real difference in the lives of children and their families?

We are currently seeking a Nurse, to support our community team in providing a clinical input into care packages as well as 1-1 support for children with learning disabilities. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment and make a positive impact on the lives of children and their families.

Network Healthcare is a nationwide homecare company specialising in the areas of learning disabilities support, complex care, community care and live in care.

The new children’s service is in its adolescence of development currently operating within Weston-Super-Mare. As it expands into the North Somerset area you will work with the Children’s Service Manager to expand and develop your own team.

The ideal candidate will be a passionate and conscientious Nurse. You will have excellent leadership and mentorship skills to lead a team in providing the highest standard of care.

THE ROLE

  • Office based role Mon-Fri (8:30am – 5:30pm) with some requirement for visits to service users and families on weekends and evenings – paid as overtime
  • Ensure the implementation of best practice including support plans and risk assessments.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with families, carers, doctors, local authorities
  • Research and select your own courses that will be company funded for your personal development

THE PERSON

  • Passionate about working with children who have learning disabilities
  • Experienced Nurse with a minimum of 12 months experience in a similar role
  • Valid UK Driving Licence
