Healthcare assistant to assist with daily living tasks for elderly residents living in a nursing home.
Applicants must be aged 18 or over.
As a healthcare assistant you will be involved in all aspects of our residents individual personal care supporting them to lead a dignified fulfilling life. Our healthcare assistants deliver the highest standards of person centred care whilst respecting residents' independence and choice.
We will offer you training from day one and support you with ongoing training and career development including the nationally recognised "care certificate" so you don't need to have any previous experience or qualifications, you will need to have personal qualities and values, be an effective communicator, kind, honest, friendly, reassuring and be comfortable working with and being part of a close knit team of staff.
We provide a homely environment and the opportunity to work with trained registered nurses with a great support network of internal professionals.
We provide all application, background checks and uniform at no cost to you, we will also enrol you in our company pension scheme. Overtime will be available should you wish and we provide you with a hot meal when working a long shift. Paid breaks and annual pay reviews. Pay rates are scaled depending on experience and qualifications.
Our home is rated as "Good" in all areas with the care quality commission (CQC) and we provide residential care, general nursing care, end of life care and short-stay care.
Your employment is subject to the receipt of two satisfactory job references and an enhanced disclosure and barring service background check (DBS)
