Freedom Care Herts are looking for a Personal Care Assistant to join our amazing team and provide support to our clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing assistance with daily activities, such as hygiene, dressing, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. The ideal candidate should be compassionate, reliable, and have a strong understanding of the needs of elderly or disabled individuals. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. The right candidate will require to be a driver and have their own car.
The areas we cover are Hoddesdon, Broxbourne, Cheshunt, Hertford, Ware and Stanstead Abbotts
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily activities.
- Provide assistance with personal hygiene and grooming.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding.
- Help clients with mobility issues.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Monitor client's condition and report any changes to the supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for the client.
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20/25 per week
Salary: £13.50 - £15.00 per hour
40p per mile allowance

After being a carer for 20 years and caring for both my Mother and Mother in Law (who now have sadly passed away), also visiting people in their own homes and working in a residential care home, I have seen both sides being the family member and the carer.
