Job Title: Weekend Care Worker
Duties:
- Provide assistance and support to individuals in their daily activities
- Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medications according to prescribed instructions
- Prepare and serve meals to clients
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning and laundry
- Engage in meaningful conversations and activities with clients to promote social interaction and mental stimulation
- Monitor and report any changes in clients' physical or mental health status
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred, but not required
- Compassionate and patient demeanour
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Reliable transportation to travel to clients' homes
