Our Sheffield Crisis House service is a 6 bedded CQC registered care home. We offer short term stays of up to 7 days to individuals experiencing a crisis in their own home that is not so severe that they require hospitalisation. We also work with individuals who are stepping down from hospital wards but aren’t yet ready to go back to their own home. We have an dedicated team of Support Workers and a registered manager who work maximise independence for the people who use our service.
How you will make a difference
Self-management and the development of key skills to encourage continued health and wellbeing on discharge from the service and prevent future crises and admissions
Maintain extensive knowledge of and links with community resources including signposting to specialist services.
Priorities the individuals need, working to the recovery model to support them to work towards their identified goals
Working with other mental health professionals and the family/friends of the person
