FULL TIME CARE ASSISTANT (32.5 or 38 hrs weekly)

We are looking for full-time Care Assistants with some experience for our Wey Valley House and Hatch Mill care homes in Farnham, Surrey. You must be willing to train for the Care Certificate and there may be opportunities, for the right candidates, to study for an NVQ2 and NVQ3 in Health and Social Care.

Pay rates

Pay starts at £11.20 per hour for those without care qualifications but rising to £11.25 once you have completed your Care Certificate. We also pay a weekend uplift of £1.85 an hour. For those with care qualifications, the pay rates are as follows, plus the uplift of £1.85 an hour if working a weekend shift:

Care Certificate - £11.25

Care Certificate AND NVQ2 in Health and Social Care £12.00

Care Certificate and NVQ3 in Health and Social Care £12.75

Shifts

32.5 or 38 hours weekly. A mix of shifts are available 8am – 2:30pm and 2:30pm to 9pm, including alternate weekends.

Duties

We offer our residents the very highest standards of care. In this role you will support residents’ daily needs. This will include washing, dressing, toileting and incontinence care, assisting at meal times and supporting residents with their mobility.

Roles are offered subject to a satisfactory DBS check and two references.
