We are currently looking to recruit a number of Support Workers to help participants at our sessions in Nottingham that operate on Saturdays and Sundays.
This is an extremely rewarding role which will give you a real sense of satisfaction from day one. As a Support Worker you will support individuals during sessions to participate through encouragement, creative thinking and providing high quality support and care, in line with FTM Dance values (creative, caring and person centred) and their policies and procedures.

Who are we looking for?
Applicants must have (or be working towards) a relevant Health and Social Care or Childcare qualification (e.g. Health and Social Care Level 2/3) and at least 1 year experience in a social care/childcare setting. This could include applicants who support a family friend, volunteering at a charity or supporting development within a 1:1 or classroom environment etc.
In addition, we are looking for people with a supportive, energetic and fun nature and a high level of patience and emotional resilience. You will have a non-judgemental attitude and the ability to communicate clearly and sensitively with individuals, alongside excellent listening skills, to support each individual to get the best experience when attending our sessions.

FTM Dance are a Performing Arts respite day service for children and young people with additional needs, disabilities and medical conditions, aged 3 years old and above.
FTM Dance provides day time sessions both during the week and at weekends, consisting of dance, drama, music, arts and crafts, and sensory activities, for individuals with a range of needs and abilities, including those with Autism, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy and behaviours that challenge.
