The post: Senior Care Assistant (Full time - Days)
We are seeking to recruit a senior care assistant who is able to lead our staff team in order to achieve our high standards of care. Shifts starts at 07:30 to 14:30 and 14:30 to 21:30 on a rota 42hrs per week available.
The person: To have a keen interest and experience in working with elderly people, in particular those who live with dementia.
To have achieved at least a level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care. To also have a “Can do” attitude, be caring, motivated and flexible. Have some training & experience in medication.

Dudbrook Hall Care Centre is a 45 bedded home. It provides residential for a specific group of residents elderly and dementia residents, based upon their needs. Each shift has a Team Leader, who is assisted by a Senior Care Worker, a group of care workers and ancillary staff
Recently been inspected by the Care Quality Commissions under its new standards and regulations and have been awarded an overall rating of “GOOD” in its five main criteria, scoring high on staff satisfaction.
Remuneration Depending on length of relevant experience and qualification, our hourly rate of payment for week days starts at £11.50 per hour for weekends start at £12.60. These rates of payment are regularly revised each year and long service awarded. We offer in house and off site relevant training free of charge. Due to our location in beautiful Essex countryside we also provide a transport service for staff to & from Brentwood Station/town to the care home at a suberized rate.

Howard Lodge and Dudbrook Hall, nestling in beautiful park-like gardens in Kelvedon Common on the outskirts of Brentwood, Essex, are surrounded by beautiful countryside with abundant wildlife including deer as regular visitors.

Sheila trained as a registered nurse and midwife followed by 25 years midwifery, followed by 5 years as a health advisor to the elderly, and obtained a diploma in gerontology. With this experience care of residents comes from the top down, this can be seen by the way residents are cared for by all staff.
