The aim of Garvald Edinburgh’s day services is to provide creative day opportunities for people with learning disabilities over the age of sixteen. The organisation is inspired by the ideas of Rudolf Steiner and the principles of Social Therapy.
Our day services offer a range of art, craft, food preparation and educational activities across five building sites: Orwell Arts, Gorgie Workshops, Waterside Workshops and the Mulberry Bush Shop in Edinburgh, and Mayfield House in Dalkeith. We currently support over 220 people on a full or part-time basis.
