Hours: 14 hours per week

Salary: £8.67 per hour + £2.50 per hour weekend

Location: Chalfont St Peters

 

Mulberry Court is our award winning, 24 bed, boutique-style residential care home located in the picturesque village of Chalfont St Peters, offering exceptional care and support for older people living with dementia.

As a cook, your role is to help us provide the service required to our residents, through preparing and cooking, high quality meals in line with the dietary needs of those who use our service.

Other duties include:

ü  Preparing breakfast and/or lunch

ü  Cooking cakes for afternoon tea

ü  Putting away deliveries and helping with the cleaning and washing up

ü  Supervising support staff and assisting with the ordering of food supplies

ü  Ensuring the service is safe and hygienic

The Successful candidate:

ü  Will take pride in your food preparation and presentation skills and always deliver on time with a smile on your face.

ü  Ideally you will have a Food and Hygiene certificate but this is not essential

ü  You will be flexible, patient, and easy-going in your approach, and be willing to turn your hand to new things and never getting frustrated.
