Mulberry Court, Chalfont St. Peter
Maybe you’re looking to supplement your existing working arrangements. Perhaps you’re at a stage in your life where you would like to work hours to fit in with your other commitments. You could even be keen to further advance towards a management role. Whatever the reason, if you have proven experience in care, ideally gained in a residential and/or elderly care environment, The Fremantle Trust could have just the job for you.
Established since 1992, we’re an award winning charity and not-for-profit organisation that provides first class care and support for older people and adults with learning disabilities. Today, we have 1,800 staff supporting over 2,000 residents at 58 services across Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Berkshire, Hertfordshire, Milton Keynes and North London.
And, right now, we’re looking for Care Workers to join our team at Mulberry Court, a residential care home in Chalfont St Peter for people living with dementia.
Situated in the beautiful village of Chalfont St Peter and within easy reach of London and the Home Counties, Mulberry Court provides 24 hour care for both long term or respite care stays. The home also has a varied activity calendar ranging from tea and coffee mornings, shopping trips and afternoon games. And, we want you to help us enable our residents to lead fuller and more meaningful lives. Providing leadership to a team of carers working in specific flats will be important too. Indeed, you’ll be seen as something of a role model when it comes to exceptional care practice. Liaising with health professionals, organising key sessions for team members and ensuring high standards of care are maintained – all are aspects of this highly responsible role.
Ideally with NVQ Level 3 (or definitely working towards it), you’re a care worker of long standing who has experience both of being part of a team and leading one. What’s more, you’re used to carrying out team building training and troubleshooting day-to-day issues and happy to roll your sleeves up and get on with things if someone doesn’t turn up for work. Calm under pressure and great and thinking fast on your feet, you enjoy making suggestions that could influence future care practice too. Above all, you’re approachable to team members and love seeing your collective efforts result in happy residents and families.
If that sounds like the kind of good news you’re looking for, why not get in touch? You can find out more by calling 0333 400 1020.
