Lewin House, Aylesbury
Maybe you’re already in a night-time role but want to work certain nights to suit yourself. Or you might just be a natural night owl who’s used to helping others in the small hours. Whatever the reason, if you’re looking for the opportunity to make the most of your cheerful personality and excellent social, caring and life skills, The Fremantle Trust has some good news for you.
Established since 1992, we’re an award winning charity and not-for-profit organisation that provides first class care and support for older people and adults with learning disabilities. Today, we have 1,800 staff supporting over 2,000 residents at 58 services across Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Berkshire, Hertfordshire, Milton Keynes and North London. And, right now, we’re looking for Waking Night Care Workers to join the friendly team at Lewin House, a nursing care home in Aylesbury for people living with dementia as well as those who require nursing care
Home to 70 residents, Lewin House encourages as much independence and self-determination to their residents as possible. Now, we want you to help us enable our residents to lead fuller and more meaningful lives. Assisting with their personal care needs; serving meals; involving them in activities and going on individual and group outings and day trips – all are part and parcel of the role of a Care Worker. And, remember the good news we mentioned? Here it is – you don’t need to have worked in care before to join us.
We’ll provide you with the training and support you need. You’ll receive competitive rates of pay and a generous holiday entitlement too. All we ask is that you are compassionate, empathetic, enjoy helping others, willing to learn how to support someone with dementia and would like to promote other people’s independence whilst respecting their individual choice, privacy and dignity.
If that sounds like the kind of good news you’re looking for, why not get in touch? You can find out more by calling our Recruitment Team on 03334001020.
