You may be used to carrying out domestic duties for an elderly relative. Perhaps you’ve already worked in housekeeping within a care environment and want to take the next step in your career. You might even have managed a housekeeping team in the past and be returning from a break. Whatever your background to date, if you’re looking for a housekeeping role where you can make the most of your skills, The Fremantle Trust could have just the job for you.

Established since 1992, we’re an award winning charity and not-for-profit organisation that provides first class care and support for older people and adults with learning disabilities. Today, we have 1,800 staff supporting over 2,000 residents at 58 services across Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Berkshire, Hertfordshire, Milton Keynes and North London. And, right now, we’re looking for a Housekeeper to join the team at Mulberry Court, our specialist dementia care home in Chalfont St Peter.

A premium care home focussed on giving residents the very best services, the team at Mulberry Court constantly strive for excellence in everything we do – from the cleanliness of the living environment through to the quality of the cuisine. And, we want you to help us by managing our household team. Very much a hands-on role, as well as bringing leadership skills, you’ll work alongside the team and help out with laundry, ironing and cleaning duties. We’ll also rely on you to order stocks and supplies, manage a staff rota and housekeeping budget and keep accurate records.

A great opportunity to become part of our senior team, you’ll need proven relevant experience in a care or domestic setting and the drive and motivation it takes to lead a team and act as a role model.  Friendly and outgoing, flexible and reliable, you’re interested in working with older people too. Indeed, you’re a firm believer in treating everyone with respect and dignity and doing everything you can to help enhance other people’s quality of life.

If that sounds like the kind of role you’re looking for, why not get in touch? You can find out more by calling 0333 400 1020 or visit our website http://www.fremantletrust.org/current-vacancies.html
