Location:                            The position will be based in and around Flintshire including:-








Salary:                                up to £7.60 per hour + free ongoing training

Hours:                                 up to 40 hrs

The Role:                            An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our care team. The role involves working with vulnerable adults with learning disabilities, providing them with practical and emotional care, enabling them to lead as ordinary life as they can achieve within a supported living setting. Flexibility is essential as you will be required to work shifts including bank holidays, weekends and sleep ins.


Responsibilities of the Senior Support Worker:


To supervise and lead a team of support workers to enable our service users to lead as fulfilling and satisfying a life as they possibly can.
To participate in the day-to-day implementation of individual support plans and activities within a challenging environment
To maintain effective communication and liaison with service users, families and other whilst respecting appropriate confidentiality
To co-ordinate, and be involved in, the preparation of meals, laundry duties and cleaning
To maintain accurate notes and records  as and when required
To work as part of a team to provide high quality

The Candidate:

The successful candidate for the role will have:

A minimum 12 months experience working with adults with learning disabilities
A Level 2/3 Health & Social Care
The ability to keep calm under pressure
Experience of working  alone and as part of a team
Excellent communication skills
The passion to work with vulnerable adults
The desire and commitment to achieve high standards of safeguarding
