SALARY DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE

Several of our clients are currently looking to recruit experienced Registered RGN and RMN Nurses to work across the South East of England.

The ideal candidates must be qualified, committed and have a proven track record. The successful RGN / RMN Nurses will provide leadership to their team and must lead by example, championing resident safety and dignity.

Key Responsibilities
•Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating quality nursing care in consultation with residents, their relatives and the care team
•Administering medication, ensuring medication is properly taken, and monitoring drug effectiveness
•Ensuring high standards of hygiene are observed
•Supervising and training care assistants and support workers
•Liaising with GPs, multi-disciplinary team members and other healthcare professionals
•Ensuring all nursing practices are evidence-based and reflect best practice
•Ensuring all relevant information is handed over at the change of shifts
•Investigating complaints and accidents / incidents – following procedures to reach resolution
•Ensuring all necessary goods and equipment are available for each shift
•Maintaining proper and accurate records regarding residents and other home information
•Resolving problems arising in the home where possible – or to referring them to the Registered Manager

In order to be considered for this position it is important that you have the following qualities and qualifications:
•NMC Registration Number
•A friendly, willing and caring disposition, with an ability to empathise with our residents and their families
•Tact and diplomacy in dealing with sensitive issues
•Reliability and trustworthiness
•Good written and verbal communication skills
•An ability to understand and maintain resident confidentiality
•An ability to work as part of a team

We would also prefer that you have previous experience of working in a care home environment, but this is not essential.
